»	Conducting research and summarizing available toxicological information on each hazardous air contaminant identified for the facility
»	Identifying those remissions that are major contributors to the facility's risk

Dispersion Modeling

»	Preparing details on the proposed multi-pathway dispersion modeling and health risk assessment procedures using available meteorological data
»	Conducting model runs for facility pollutants of both point and area sources using models such as Industrial Source Complex Short Term (ISCST3) dispersion model
»	Developing methodologies by which to control those predicted emissions that are higher than acceptable levels using risk reduction strategies

Health Risk Assessment (HRA)

»	Conducting alternate full-scale Health Risk Assessment (HRA) for any revised emissions using the newly identified control strategies and re-evaluating the predicted reduced risk
»	Calculating carcinogenic risk due to inhalation and hazard indexes for substances with acute and chronic Noncancer Acceptable Exposure Limits (NAEL)
»	Determining whether the predicted health risks are below the significant risk levels as identified by the regulatory agencies, and whether public notification is required by the facility
»	Submitting the HRA report for review by the regulatory agencies and obtaining approval
»	Informing the facility as to which sources at the facility would likely require future source testing for air toxics
»	Assisting the facility in preparing Risk Reduction Plans
